Car with beacon seized

A bermuda-clad man was driving a car of a private travel agency of Bangalore down the streets of the city. Muniratnam, sub-inspector of the crime squad of the Robertsonpet police station, who stopped the car, inspected the documents of the vehicle and the driver and found the car was being driven in the city for private work.

Vijay Kumar, the owner of the car, is a resident of ET Block in the city and said he was on holiday.

The beacon lights were removed under orders by the police. The Robertsonpet police continue investigation.
