Super Prathima jumps into lead

The Commonwealth Championship mixed team event bronze medal winner had a total pinfall of 1100, giving her an average score of 183.33. Prathima is closely followed by State-mate Judy Bobby, who felled 1063 opins for an average of 177.17.

Prathima began with a steady game of 200, but her pinfall average dropped with scores of 147 and 158 in the next two games. However, she picked up her momentum yet again by registering the day’s highest score of 211 in the fourth.

Defending champion Sabeena Saleem of Tamil Nadu is third with a total pinfall of 1030 and an average of 171.67.

In the men’s section, Vikesh Veer Jain of Delhi continued to stay at the top with a total score of 2594. Tamil Nadu’s Shabbir Dhankot is second with a total pinfall of 2584 at 215.33.
