BSY is trying to tamper with proof

Addressing media persons on Friday, Janardhana Poojary said that Yedyurappa himself insisted transfer of Lokayuktha Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) DGP Jeevan Kumar Gaonkar, who is handling four cases against Yedyurappa and recommended the name of H N Satyanarayana Rao for the post.

The former CM did this before he was arrested and the former chief secretary S V Ranganath had opposed it.

“In another case, the government transferred DIG Pranav Mohanty and appointed Anand Chakravarthy as per Yedyurappa’s recommendation. Both the officers, H N Satyanarayana Rao and Anand Chakravarthy were indicted by Lokayuktha. Investigating Officers are very important witness in judicial process. Yedyurappa broke the condition of the court which stated not to tamper the clues. Yedyurappa wants his men in posts to destroy the evidence. Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda is following every direction of Yedyurappa,” Poojary alleged.

Action against ministers

“Many ministers including Shobha Karandlaje illegally met Yedyurappa when he was in jail.

The CM is using all his powers to allow these activities. I had respect for Sadananda Gowda, but now he has become a puppet in the hands of Yedyurappa. He should tender resignation to his post,” Poojary demanded.

He also said that the State government recommended K H N Kuranga’s name for the post of Lokayuktha. But he also has black moles in his career, Poojary added.

‘Where is Guruji?’

“Corruption charges on top officials are making headlines in Karnataka. Anti corruption Activist Anna Hazare never responded to this. Ravishankara Swamiji, who is born in Karnataka, is in Uttar Pradesh now and is also escaping from his responsibility,” Poojary critisised.
