Veteran director and producer Dwarakish released the audio CDs along with actor Keerthi Raj and producer Munirathna.
The film deals with live-in relationships and the complexities involved with them. Nitin Gowda and Shraddha Das play a couple who stay together without getting married. When Radhika Gandhi enters their life, the story takes a new turn. The film has been shot in Bangkok and also various locations across the State. Radhika Gandhi has a traditional look while Shraddha Das appears in a modern avatar.
Rajesh Ramnath has scored the music of the film. Most of the songs are duets. However, there is one catchy number and an emotional song. “We have tried our best to give a new kind of film as the subject is fresh in Kannada cinema. Pooja Gandhi also has a guest appearance in the film,” said an elated, Nitin who is making his debut as a full-fledged hero with this movie.
Dwarakish remembered his younger days and spoke about his eagerness for doing something new. “New concepts have always excited me. I have never hesitated to take risks as a producer. But these days, film-makers have been neglecting content, which is important for any art form including cinema. We should make a movie that is worth the ticket price that the audience is paying for,” he said.
Munirathna Naidu, President, Kannada Film Producers Association, also requested upcoming actors not to hike their remuneration unreasonably. “Even newcomers suddenly hike their remuneration as soon as a film of theirs makes profit. The price doesn’t come down even if ten films of theirs do badly after that. They should fix their remuneration on the basis of the collection of their last film,” he advised.
Director Anchehalli Shivakumar, producer Prasad Salmara, actor Dharma, actress Radhika Gandhi, producers A Ganesh, Soorappa Babu, Rammurthy, Mohan Chabria from Anand Audio and composer V Manohar were also present on the occasion. The film is slated for a New Year release. Anand Audio has already released the music of the film in the market.
