All about the look

The versatile actor, who is known to experiment with his looks, has donned a new look in this film as well. “I play a college student in this film. So keeping the character in mind, I worked with the stylist and decided to go for a funky look. More emphasis was laid on my hair. In fact everyday, at least 45 minutes used to go in just styling my hair,” he laughs.

“Generally, the heroines take long to get ready but in this film, I guess the hero took longer,” he adds.

Actress Archana Gupta, who starred in ‘Golden Star’ Ganesh’s ‘Circus’, has teamed up with the Gaana Bajaana actor. “She is a lovely co-star — very professional and extremely comfortable in front of the camera. We shared a great rapport while working together,” he says.

The movie, Tharun says, is more than just a love story. “The protagonist actually goes through many ups and downs in life. The film is all about how he handles each one of them,” adds Tharun.

Talking about debutant director Himayath, Tharun describes him as a very good film-maker.

“He has already made a name for himself in the ad world and I am sure he will go a long way even in films. What I really liked about him is that he is a very friendly, cooperative and knowledgeable person. I had a great experience working with him,” he adds.

Currently, the actor is working in Soundarya Jagadish’s production Snehitharu for which, he will be going in for a new look once again. “It’s always nice to experiment. The movie is about friendship and my character is a bit different. But I am keeping it as a surprise for now,” he wraps up.
