Fest meet on future of animation

Spotlighting on this special cinematic offerings and seeking to put in perspective the latest trends and happenings in the field is the seminar — ‘Notions in Motion – The Future of Animation.’

One of the thematic highlights of Indo-German Film Festival, the seminar says Max Mueller Bhavan Cultural Head Maureen Gonsalves, will witness presentations on the international and European trends from world-class German filmmakers, as also by local animation studios on current and future Indian scenario.

Students and young adults keen on learning more on animation and having special yen for animation as a career choice or hobby, will see them get ample opportunity for interaction, discussion and Q&A with leading experts, says Maureen. The seminar will be held on Saturday, November 19 between 1.30 pm and 5.30 pm at Goethe-Institute/Max Mueller Bhavan, 716 CMH Road, Indiranagar 1st Stage. Participation is free.

Moderated by Balachander M Gandhekar, Managing Director, Foresee Multimedia, it will see experts such as Artur Kubiczek (CEO & Creative Director Fish Blowing Bubbles, Germany) Jai Natarajan (CEO – Xentrix, Bangalore), Biren Ghose (CEO - Technicolor, Bangalore), Corinna Mehner (Producer “Lilli the Witch 2”, CEO Blue Eyes Fiction, Germany) Carolin Dassel (Executive Producer “Lilli the Witch 2”, Blue Eyes Fiction, Germany) Michael Coldewey (Producer “Lilli the Witch 2”, Founder & CEO of TRIXTER, Germany) in attendance.
