Man crushed under train

According to the police, Esu and 16 of his family members had booked tickets for Chamarajanagar-Tirupati fast passenger train.

The train reached the Kengeri railway station around 8 pm. The train stops at the Kengeri station only for a few seconds. Sixteen of his family members had already boarded the train before it started moving. Esu started running on the platform trying to get into the coach and managed to step on the footboard, but lost control.

He fell down and came under the wheels of the train and was killed instantly.
