Continuing his tirade against the BSP regime, he accused the ministers of pocketing money sent to the state by the Centre for various development projects. “The time has gone when Mulayam and Mayawati used to feel for the people. I have been an admirer of Mulayam and have learnt many things from him. But now they have become big leaders. They travel by helicopters and have lost contact with the people,” Rahul said, addressing a series of meetings in Baharaich district.
Mincing no words, Rahul sought to debunk Mulayam's secular credentials and said he had aligned with Kalyan Singh, an accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case.
