'Need stringent laws regarding surrogate motherhood'

Speaking on the occasion of the 12th Women Convention of the Udupi Division of the Insurance Employees Union here in Brahmagiri on Sunday, she demanded stringent laws in India on this new concept of selling the womb.

There is male dominance in every nook and corner of the society. Education sector and judicial system of the country is also not spared from the evil of discrimination against women. Constitutional remedies are restricted only to the males and holds no concern to women, she explained
