Pak hands over body of Indian bride

Karamjit Kaur, a resident of Dera Baba Nanak in Punjab went missing around 15 days ago. During probe, it came to light that she was murdered by her husband and in-laws and the body was thrown into the Ravi river.

The body was spotted a few days back on the bank of the river at Narowal sector in Pakistan. Her Indian identity was established after Pakistani officials spotted photos of Sikh Gurus in the locket she was wearing after which they contacted Indian media. A case has been registered against Karamjit’s husband Jaspal Singh.
