DC orders demolition of unlicensed buildings

He made a surprise visit to the CMC office on Thursday and inspected several documents.

He ordered the district development council cell officer Padmanabh for a probe into the irregularities in the market, besides issuing notices to those holding illegal possession of the buildings in the market.

‘Machinery needed’

The DC said sucking and jetting machine dealers were yet to supply the additional machine ordered for the CMC.

He said Rs 10,000 each would be provided to the families of all castes to construct toilets in their homes. There are 1,600 houses in the city without toilets, Meena informed.
Information to CMC

He said officials should provide information to the CMC members. He said this in the backdrop of the assault on former CMC member Babu. He said all matters related to CMC would be uploaded on the website.

Meena later inspected various development works, besides holding separate meetings with the elected representatives and officials.
