Students demand solutions to their problems

Harshith of fifth standard said that the rain water harvesting unit tank in the school is in deplorable condition. The tank is filled with waste water. With the lack of electricity, the school is facing severe shortage of water. There is a need to clean the tank and supply with drinking water.

Ranjith and Shaurya urged the authorities to provide milk to the students once in a week. The school pupil leader Subhash said the road from Hanagal Bane to the school is in deplorable condition. There is a need to repair it. A fourth standard student said that the stray dog menace is on rise in Kalkandur Government school premises. “Protect us from stray dogs,” he appealed the authorities.

Manjunath alleged that drinking water was not available in Kalkandur School.
Problems will be solved.

The Gram Panchayat Development Officer M R Sumesh said that the problems will be solved at the earliest.

Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Taluk Panchayat Member Poornima Gopal said that the teachers and parents should join hands with each other in protecting the rights of the children. Gram panchayat president Thilaka Rai presided.
