<p>Looks like Chiranjeevi Sarja is the new prankster in Sandalwood. And surprisingly, he willingly admits it! Known for his jovial nature, the actor recently had a caller tune which was a recorded message stating that the user is out of the country.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“I wanted to try out a different caller tune. When I came across this one, I thought why not?” he tells Metrolife. According to him, it’s a great way to get rid of telemarketing calls. Chiranjeevi also says that those close to him are not surprised when he plays pranks like these on them. <br /><br />Currently shooting for Vardanayaka, Chiranjeevi says that this role is made for him. “I play a brat who is very bindaas and enjoys hanging out with his friends. When I first read the script, I thought that I could easily pull off this role as I am a brat in reality,” he laughs. And like always, he did pull a fast one on everyone on the sets of Varadanayaka. <br /><br />“There was an intense scene scheduled for the day and just before it was about to be shot, I suddenly started acting like I didn’t want to shoot that day and stayed put in my seat. Everyone got worried and I put on the act for quite sometime. It was only later that I broke into laughter and told them that I was only joking,” says Chiranjeevi. <br /><br />The movie, that also stars Sudeep and Nishika, is a remake of the Telugu movie Lakshyam. The action-cum-family entertainer will see Sudeep playing an assistant police commissioner while Chiranjeevi will appear as his brother. Chiranjeevi, who played a cop in his last film Dhandam Dhashagunam (DD), is happy to grow back his stubble and hair for this movie. <br /><br />“I enjoyed sporting a clean shaven look for DD but I am more comfortable with the stubble and long hair. I think this look has become a part of me now,” says Chiranjeevi. <br /></p>
