Gujarat’s Dhvaj Haria retained the National Sub-junior billiards crown, scoring a hard-fought win over Maharashtra’s Jaiveer Dhingra here on Saturday.

In a thrilling hour-long final at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana, Haria held his nerve, posting a break of 49 that helped him post a 251-174 victory.

Karnataka’s ML Lakshman finished third after a 190-137 win over Ashutosh Padhy.
