Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shobha Karandlaje on Tuesday urged the Centre to immediately take steps to resolve the LPG truckers strike in the interest of LPG consumers in the State.
She said she has written to the Union Petroleum Minister Jaipal Reddy requesting him to take immediate steps. “LPG consumers should not face any problem. Hence, steps should be taken to prevent truckers from continuing their strike,” she added.
LPG truckers have been staging a protest demanding hike in transportation rates from the oil companies - IOC, BPCL and HPCL.
