Three men died and four others were injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with a goods vehicle near Bharatavalli Cross, National Highway 48, here on Tuesday.
The dead have been identified as P H Narasimhaiah and P B Mariyappa of Padavagere village in Kunigal taluk, Tumkur and driver Manohar of Bangalore.
The injured are P H Govindaraju, P N Srinivas Gowda, Shivanna and Ramaiah and they have been admitted to the district hospital, Hassan. All were on their way to Dharmasthala.
