State riding high only on IT, BT sectors

Playing host to the industry, representatives of the State made presentations on the IT and BT sectors alone, ignoring  others.

Whether it was the performance, proposed projects or incentives, the emphasis was clearly on the two sectors.

Going by the same trend, the IT and BT players topped the count in the audience, and there by voiced majority of the concerns.

Barring, concerns raised by the Confederation of Real Estate and Developers Association of India (CREDAI) about clarity on the powers of BDA and BBMP and few issues raised by representatives from the sugar industry, IT and BT concerns echoed the meeting hall.

Meanwhile, addressing the gathering here, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa called industries to set foot in to the Tier II and III cities, and help the State achieve an over all development, and promised world class infrastructure among other things.
