Decision on Sudhakar, Somanna in three days: DV

Speaking to presspersons after offering baagina at Bhadra Reservoir on Friday, he said the decision on D Sudhakar and Somanna will be taken after discussing the matter with party executive board.

He said “Advani had tendered resignation after an allegation. However, there are several instanaces where Minister has continued in the post after losing the election. He expressed inclination towards retaining Mujarai Minister.

“Party will decide whether Minister Sudhakar should resign or not. As a BJP State President, I can not tell my personal view before the media. The decision on the ministers will be taken after CM returns from visiting drought affected areas and MP Ananthkumar from New Delhi.” 

Gowda said: “After 55 years of independence, the power is in our hand. Several have worked for it. We can not give suitable positions to all. We were busy in maintaining the stability of the government so far. We will bring all of them together.”

“The party membership drive has received good response across the State. So far 13 lakh members have been enrolled. The party working committee will be selected after holding election at mandal, district and state level elections. We will maintain internal democracy within the party.”

A report on all ministers way of functioning is ready. It will be handed over to the party high command at suitable time. Recently Desai Committee visited Tarikere. The Upper Bhadra project will be implemented without causing inconvenience to the farmers. I will protect the interest of the farmers. Central government should release Rs 750 crore towards tackling drought situation in the state after studying the report of the officials.
