Speaking at a function organised by the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology here, Kakodkar said: “Pokhran II tests were a complete success and they achieve 100 per cent desired results.”
On Wednesday, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) representative for Pokhran II K Santhanam had said that India should not sign the CTBT as the country needed to carry out more tests since the thermonuclear tests in 1998 had failed to produce the desired results.
