Vokkaligara Sangha director hit by its president

It was learnt that Prof Nagaraj had allegedly sought some favour from Kenchappa in getting an MBA seat for one of his relatives. Following his refusal to give seat, Nagaraj allegedly hurled invectives, which irked Kenchappa. An angry Kenchappa is alleged to have thrown a paper weight at  Nagaraj, which hit his head and left him bleeding. Later, Nagaraj told mediapersons that he would lodge a complaint with the police. He said Kenchappa was angry with him because he had made public the irregularities in the Sangha.
