A Delhi court on Wednesday asked the police to properly probe the case related to a CD allegedly containing conversation between Team Anna member Shanti Bhushan and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

The court rejected the investigators’ plea to close the matter as soon as possible. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vinod Yadav directed the deputy commissioner of police to get the matter probed thoroughly and file a report.

“This court is of the opinion that investigation in the matter has not been conducted well. Considering the nature of allegations in the case, it is expected that investigation would be done thoroughly and would reach a firm conclusion,” said the judge.

Illegal migrants deported

Six Bangladesh nationals, who were living in the city illegally, have been deported to their country, police said on Wednesday.

Additional Commissioner of Police (south-east) Ajay Chaudhry said the migrants — Safikue Islam Khoken, 22, Nainal, 49, Safia, 45,  Reshama, 18, Rupali, 40, and a minor boy were living in Amar Colony for the last few months.

After thorough verification, it was discovered that they did not have any valid document to stay in the country. “All the illegal migrants have been deported to Bangladesh after thorough interrogation,” said Chaudhry. They had been living in jhuggi jhopri clusters and resettlement colonies.
