<p>S A Khazi has been appointed the acting Vice-Chancellor of the Karnataka State Women’s University (KSWU).<br /><br /></p>.<p>The Governor, H R Bhardwaj, issued the order on Saturday, appointing Prof Khazi the V-C after the incumbent Geeta Bali demitted office earlier in the day.<br /><br />Prof Khazi will hold the charge till a full-time V-C is named by the Governor. His appointment as the acting V-C is customary, because he is the senior-most dean.<br /><br />Prof Khazi is from the Department of Social Work. Earlier, he was the varsity’s Registrar.</p>
