A 96-year-old man was among the three persons sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court on Saturday in connection with the murder of a former MLA’s son over a decade ago.
District and Sessions Judge Vijay Laxmi held Kulab Singh (96), his nephew Arvind Kumar and Dinesh Chandra Patheria guilty of the murder of Indra Mohan, son of former MLA Subedar Singh. Indra was shot near his house in Mohalla Baurshi Gohra on November 23, 1996, the prosecution said.
