The Lokayukta Court here on Thursday adjourned to March 26 further hearing on the private complaint against External Affairs Minister S M Krishna and two other former Karnataka chief ministers accusing them of involvement in illegal mining.

Lokayukta Judge N K Sudhindra Rao adjourned the complaint filed by social activist T J Abraham after he sought time in view of the Supreme Court stay on the investigation into allegations against Krishna and yesterday's high court order dismissing the criminal petitions by three officers, indicted in the Lokayukta report on illegal mining, seeking quashing of the complaint.

Abraham also brought to the notice of the court that of the 11 officers named in the complaint, seven had moved court seeking quashing of the complaint. Of this, three had been dismissed while arguments in the remaining four petitions are still pending before the court.

Earlier, Superintendent of Police Lokayukta, Jagadish Prasad submitted the status report of the probe conducted so far into the complaint.
