Student found dead mysteriously

A class eight student of a higher primary school in Anveri village of Ranebennur taluk is suspected to have committed suicide on Thursday.

The body of Ajjaiah Manjaiah Hiremath,14, was found with a cable around his neck. A case has been registered at the rural police station.

It is said that Ajjaiah did not  class in the morning.

When his classmates returned to the class after lunch break, they found his body in the classroom with a cable wire around his neck with the other end of it tied to the window.

Headmistress H Chandramma informed the higher officials and the police over phone about the incident.
