Three held for theft

The Jalahalli police have arrested three people for burgling valuables from a consumer durables store and recovered goods worth Rs 8 lakh. The suspects are Raju (23), a resident of Doddaballapur taluk, Ganesh (24) of Hoskote and Ravi (58) of Hesaraghatta main road.

The trio had broken open windowpanes and entered the ground floor of Girias store on Gokul Main Road. They had fled with 22 mobile phones, six LED television sets, 12 tablets, one laptop and a few heating irons, said the police.

Based on CCTV footage, the police arrested the trio. The suspects had also stolen valuables from a home appliances store at T Dasarahalli on Tumakuru Road, added the police.
