<p>In a case of alleged drunken driving, a 24-year-old MBA student, Gurudarshan, crashed his car into one of the gates of Cubbon Park on Sunday night.<br /><br /> </p>.<p>There were no injuries reported. Gurudarshan, after a night out with a friend, was driving from Vittal Mallya Road to Sadashivanagar when he tried to rush through the gates of Cubbon Park.<br /><br />He soon realised that the gates were closed. Gurudarshan tried to take a U-turn and rammed into the adjacent gates.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The Cubbon Park police, who came to the spot, arrested him and took him to Victoria Hospital for a alcohol test before registering a case. Gurudarshan was later released. He is said to be a resident of Sadashivanagar.<br /><br />Mystery shrouds death<br />A 42-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances while playing a game of dice near M S Nagar Paost at Banaswadi on Sunday. <br /><br />The deceased, Venkatesh, was a dailywage worker. Police said Venkatesh had a fight with one of the players over the stake money of Rs 50. <br /><br />Within a few minutes of the fight, a call was made to the local police station informing about the death of Venkatesh. <br /><br />There were no injury marks on the body and hence, it is yet to be ascertained whether the death of Venkatesh was a natural death or a murder. The police are waiting for the post mortem report to proceed further.</p>
