‘E-Week’

M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology is organising ‘E-Week MSRIT 12’, the inter-collegiate entrepreneurial week, from February 11 to 18. With the theme ‘Invent The Future’, this event is being held to spread awareness about various social issues.

It also aims to identify the potential of school and college and provide them a platform to showcase their entrepreneurial skills. More than 30,000 people are expected to be a part of the fest. The current edition shall be all the more auspicious because of the golden jubilee celebrations of MSRIT. For details, call 8884227617.

‘Zeitgeist’

Mount Carmel Degree College is hosting a three-day inter-collegiate fest titled, ‘Cul-Ah’ from February 9 to 11. The theme this year is ‘Zeitgeist’, meaning the spirit, attitude or trend of a particular time period. Through this theme, the fest aims to depict the cultural changes and the progress over time and inspire the youth to contribute towards a better future. There’s also going to be a burial of a ‘Time Capsule’ on campus, as it signifies the theme of the fest.

The fest will have a wide range of events, including a media game show, a ramp event, beat boxing and Sudoku, in addition to a splendid fashion show with a unique theme. For details, log onto www.culah2012.wordpress.com

‘Nrityanjali’

Nrityanjali-2012, a salutation to dance, the inter-collegiate dance fest of Kristu Jayanti College will be held on February 11 on the college campus. There will be nine events including classical dance, eastern dance, western dance, folk dance, adaptune, theme dance and retro dance. About 50 college are expected to participate in the event.  Veena Murthy Vijay will inaugurate the dance fest. The competitions will be judged by renowned young dancers of the City.
