<p>Actress Kareena Kapoor, who has for the first time performed a 'Mujra' in her forthcoming film, 'Agent Vinod', says, she has taken cue from Bollywood veteran Rekha for doing this kind of a number.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The much awaited action-spy-thriller film stars Kareena opposite beau Saif Ali Khan.In the mujra --'Dil Mera Muft Ka' choreographed by Saroj Khan, Kareena will be showing all her 'nazakat' and 'adaayein'.<br /><br />The 31-year-old turned to Rekha for inspiration, who mesmerized the audience in the early 80s with her mujras like 'Salaam-e-Ishq Meri Jaan' (Muqaddar Ka Sikandar), 'Dil Cheez Kya Hai' and 'In Aankhon Ki Masti' (Umrao Jaan).<br /><br />"Rekhaji has been the ultimate performer when it comes to classic Mujra songs but 'Dil Mera Muft Ka' is a contemporary take on Mujras and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I have performing it," Kareena said.<br /><br />The actress is a perfectionist as she participated in the planning of the entire song, right from the concept to the look and even rehearsed non-stop with ace choreographer Saroj Khan until she got the finer nuances of the dance form.<br /><br />Says director Sriram Raghavan that the song was required in the film to take the story forward.<br /><br />"The song has been shot as a mujra because it blended well with the plot of the film. I think songs should take the film forward and not exist just for entertainment. There is a sequence in Karachi, Pakistan, so I thought if we have to do a song sequence then it be a traditional mujra," Raghavan said. </p>
