LPG refils supply to customers has been delayed due to the impact of the recent strike by bulk LPG transporters, All-India LPG Distributors Federation of Karnataka Circle today said.
Federation Secretary N Sathyan in a statement here said due to short supply of LPG presently there was a 15-25 days delay in supply of refills to customers.
"There is a bulk shortage in the bottling plants due to which supplies to distributors have been affected," he said adding it would take another 20-25 days to restore normalcy.
Oil companies were making efforts for augmenting supplies, he said and appealed to the consumers to cooperate with distributors.
LPG transporters in southern states went on a week-long strike last month to press their demands, affecting supplies.
