The minister also released the list of cultural programmes to be held in front of the majestic Amba Vilas Palace, which starts from September 19.
Addressing a press conference here, Shobha Karandlaje said the gold cards are priced at Rs 6000 each, and will be sold at all tourism offices across the State.
Bookings for the gold cards can be done online on the site mysoredasara.com.
This year, 1,000 cards will be on sale. Gold card holders enjoy special privileges during the ten-day Dasara festival.
Inauguration
Karandlaje said that Sri Sri Ravishankar of the Art of Living will inaugurate this year’s Dasara festival atop Chamundi Hills in Mysore on September 19.
The government has already finalised his name, and an invitation would be extended to him soon.
