Basking in success

Karan Johar is a very happy man. His last two releases — Agneepath and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu — raked in a huge sum at the box office.

Agneepath accumulated almost Rs 120 crore in its two week run and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu made as much as Rs 23 crore in its first weekend.

After the twin success of these films, Karan is all set to launch as many as nine new projects this year under his banner Dharma Productions. Interestingly, both Agneepath and Ek Main... have been directed by debutant film-makers Karan Malhotra and Shakun Batra.

KJo, as he is fondly called, will now launch a few more first-timers.
