Briefing reporters, Kurlon Limited Chairman & Managing Director Sudhakar Pai said, the exclusive 6,000 sq ft store set up at a cost of Rs 1 crore provides for one-stop shop for customers who can choose from Kurl-On’s complete range of home comforts.
The store showcases the entire range of home and sleep comfort products of the company. It also displays the Cesare range of high-end sofas built by the company’s 60:40 joint venture with the Italian company Cesare. Curlon is also planning to export the Kurl-On Cesare range of sofa sets in overseas markets shortly. Further, as part of the expansion plans of its retail business, Pai said, 14 more Kurl-On Nest Stores will come up in South India to add to the existing ones. Kurlon Ltd in 2009-10 is aiming to touch Rs 550 crore in revenue and the retail business is likely to bring in Rs 5 to 6 crore.
