“I have been longing to attend such a programme for several years. I am thrilled to see these children some on the stage and perform with such confidence. The government needs a helping hand and I appreciate the work done by the organisation in this sector. We need to ensure a better future for every special child in this country,” said Wasnik.
Parents were delighted to see their children perform on stage. The Children also shared a similar feeling. They had been practicing for several days for the occasion.
“It is a day when our students get an opportunity to showcase their talent in front of an audience and get recognised for their achievements. This way they can develop their confidence,” said Dr Shayama Chona, founder of Tamana.
Other guests present at the celebration were actors Naseer Abdullah and Alka Lamba, designers Taniya Khanuja, Gautam Guptaand Parul Grover, and socialite and Rooma Sekhri, among others.
