Mugdha met with an accident on the Mumbai-Pune expressway and suffered neck injury and bruises, as a result of which she had to resort to using a neck collar.
Due to the intense pain, Mugdha called Ajay to inform him that she wouldn’t be able to join the film’s unit.
Most people would’ve just sympathised and accommodated the actress accordingly. But Ajay was also considerate enough to send over his own doctor, Dr Dilip to Pune along with his cousin and executive producer Vikrant Sharma to Mugdha’s aid.
Gushed the actress, “I’m extremely thankful to Ajay. This is the first time I’m working with him and I’m very touched by his gesture. I can now resume work but will have to go slow. Acupressure therapy and the neck band have eased my injury by 70 per cent. Though Ajay and my director Rohit Shetty have told me to take my time to recuperate, I am in Goa for the shoot. Ajay and Rohit feel like family to me.”
This is not the first time Ajay has gone out of the way for his co-stars and friends. Earlier, Ajay had postponed a schedule of the film All The Best to give time to Fardeen Khan to recover from his personal loss.
