Ahead of the SSLC exams in April, the Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) will set up a helpline and conduct counselling from March 19.
The helpline will function from March 19 to March 31 every day between 3 pm and 5 pm. From April 2 to 4, the helpline will function between 10:15 am and 2 pm. Also, on March 19 when the helpline is launched, it will function between 10:15 am and 2 pm.
Students who need guidance on managing stress can call 080 23312245 or 080 23312246.
Counselling will be by expert psychiatrists, doctors, sociologists and academicians. The department officials will also take part.
Students and parents can make use of the facility.
Any question pertaining to exam fear, preparation for exam, question paper pattern, study skills, time management, memory power, peer and parent pressure and related topics will be answered.
The department has specified that it will not be answering questions from the syllabus, in the counselling.
