40 II PU students debarred

As many as 40 II PU students were debarred for copying in examination for political science and mathematics across the State on Saturday.

Bijapur continues to top the list with 19 debarments. The district accounted for 13 debarments on the first day of the exam while 18 students were debarred on Friday. A total of 40 students have been caught for examination malpractice till now in the district.

Bijapur was followed by Gulbarga district with six students being debarred on Saturday. Chikballapur accounted for three debarments, and Belgaum and Bagalkot two each. One student each was debarred in Bangalore North, Bellary, Bidar, Kolar, Mysore, Mandya, Koppal, and Yadgir districts, the Department of Pre-University Education said in a statement.
