He was speaking at the beginning of the 39th ‘Hunnime Haadu’ programme organised by Adima Sanskrutika Kendra at Shivagange hill in Kolar on Friday night. “ Saving a rupee might seem trivial and building a institution might seem even unpractical. But Adima is an outstanding example of this which is not only preserving the native art and culture but is also holding programmes to promote it,” he added.
Lauding the efforts of Adima, Rajesh said that the organisation was not involved in recognising the local artistes but were also training them and were providing platform for them to show case their talent.
“If the connoisseur of art help and cooperate Adima, important steps can be taken to preserve the local culture.” he added. Scientific writer T R Anantharamu, former MLA Guruprasad, Koddajji Mohan, P Vasudev Reddy and Adima President Kotiganahalli Ramaiah were present on the occasion. Later Thirukaraja, a comedy play directed by Ramakrishna Belaturu was sta-ged by Hosakote folk aritistes.
