<p>Five police personnel were suspended over the custodial death of Irfan, here on Saturday.<br /></p>.<p> The suspended officers are Sub-inspector Sandeep, head constable Basavaraj, constables Praveen Patil, Imran and Krishnappa of Kote police station. Irfan, 27, a resident of Azad Nagar, was taken into police custody over a theft case on March 23. It is said he died on his way to the hospital same day.
