Man creates bomb scare at rly station

 A bomb scare delayed the Howrah-Puri Dhauli Express for about three hours on Saturday at Belda, 40 km from Kharagpur town in West Midnapore district.

A man, whose wife had reportedly boarded the train, tried to stop it by misleading the gateman of a level crossing saying a bomb was planted in it. As a result, the train was delayed for three hours. A bomb squad rushed from Midnapore, conducted a thorough check of the train with the Railway Protection Force and police personnel and declared the train safe. It then left for Puri.
