JOIN USBangalore Regional defence laboratories bagged the major share of the annual DRDO Awards 2011 during the Annual Director’s Conference 2012 held recently in New Delhi.
Among the Young Scientists awardees from Bangalore are Vikram Singh, Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA); KP Jayaprakash, Centre for Air Borne Systems (CABS); Hemant Vasant Paranjape, Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE); J Sankar Kumar, Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE); Pramod Kumar, Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE) and Santhosh Kumar, Microwave Tube Research & Development Centre (MTRDC).
The Best Performance Awardees from Bangalore were: Renu Sharma, Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification (CEMILAC); N Hoysala, Defence Bio- Engineering & Electro Medical Lab (DEBEL); SN Mahesh, Asstt (Hindi) – Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIR); MK Geetha, MTRDC; K Manoharan from Naval Physical and Oceanographic Lab (NPOL), Kochi.
