SFI activists block road seeking regular bus service

The condition of the building of Government Boys’ PU College is very bad. The roof of the building is also in a dilapidated state. It leaks during the rainy season. There is shortage of toilets in the College. Students have been facing drinking water problem. Classrooms also need renovation, the protesters complained.

Students have been facing harrowing time as buses from rural areas do not ply on time. Due to this, the students are unable to reach schools and colleges on time.
The dharna was withdrawn with Police sub-inspector K G Sathish holding talks with and officials of the transport department.
District Joint secretary of SFI  K Sathish, district Committee member N R Srinath, leaders B N Nagarjun, Ramesh, Srinivas, Kadirappa, Dhananjaya and others led the protest.
