“All the legislators of the party have submitted their resignations. I am going to New Delhi to present the Jharkhand situation to parliamentary board meeting of the party.

We will hand over the resignation letters to assembly speaker after discussing the issue in the meeting,” Das said after the meeting of the state legislators. The BJP has also announced to move the Supreme Court against the Centre for not holding elections in the state.

“Home Minister P Chidambaram had assured parliament that assembly elections will be conducted after monsoon. Election dates have been announced in three states and there is no sign of poll in Jharkhand,” said Das. Governor K Sankarnarayanan was not dissolving the state assembly to facilitate elections. Even the Janata Dal-United (JD-U), has announced its members will resign after getting clearance from the central leaders.
