The Special Lokayukta Court will post orders on April 5 on a private complaint filed against MLC E Krishnappa charging him with colluding with some people and converting gomala lands into residential sites in the green belt area.

The complainant, R Raghu, has alleged that Krishnappa had converted lands illegally in three villages of Dasanapura hobli in Bangalore North taluk. He is alleged to have created bogus documents in the name of Papaiah Reddy and others for four acres in Gowdanahalli and applied for conversion of lands in their names.

In another instance, 10 acres and 6 guntas were registered in the name of K N Prakash, an accused in the case and the sale deed was registered in his name and documents were created to show that it was converted land and a notification was issued. In yet another instance, the accused are said to have grabbed 24 acres and one gunta of land in Gowdanahalli and created fake documents like RTC (record of tenancy and crops).

The complaint states that Krishnappa made a false representation before Nelamangala Development Authority and got a layout plan approved for 13 acres and 32 guntas at Kadabagere village, by misusing his official position, though the land falls within the green belt area. The documents are said to have been created for the formation of E K Enclave Layout.

The complaint states that the Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore, had conducted an inquiry and found violations committed by Krishnappa. He had submitted a preliminary report to the government, but no action had been taken. The complaint lists K N Prakash, A C Muniraju, B Premanatha Reddy and H S Vijaykumar as the accused.
