Now, plan to felicitate Sadananda

Supporters of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa leave no stone unturned when it comes to displaying their loyalty to their leader.

They have been organising events after events to felicitate their leader, the latest being a mega function in Shimoga on Saturday.

Not wanting to be left behind, supporters of Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda have now pitched in to organise a felicitation programme for him.

Speaking to reporters in chief minister’s home office Krishna, Forest Minister C P Yogeeshwara said the party would organise a massive convention next month to honour Gowda. “If party’s senior leaders agree, we are planning to felicitate him in April,” he said.

Earlier in the day, party State president K S Eshwarappa said there was no need to draw inferences from Yeddyurappa’s felicitation programme, which was done in the interest of the development of the district, he added.
