BJP MPs skip PAC meeting

Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj again appealed to the expelled BJP veteran to step down. However, Singh, an ex-armyman, looked grim and maintained that he was not ready for the bait.

BJP and NDA members of the PAC stayed away from its first meeting, convened by Singh.Yashwant Sinha and Gopinath Munde, BJP MPs in the Lok Sabha, did not attend the PAC meeting citing prior engagements. Other BJP member like Shanta Kumar and Narayan Singh Kesari also absented themselves. Besides, Anandrao Adsul (Shiv Sena) and Sharad Joshi (Swatantra Bharat Paksh) also skipped the meeting. One of the JD(U) members was present.

The BJP said it has not given any direction to party members not to attend meeting.
