Daboo (Randhir Kapoor) and Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) are step brothers who just can’t stand each other. Both of them are competing with each other to find the richest groom for their daughters Bobby (Jacqueline Fernandes) and Henna (Asin). In their search for the richest groom, Kapoors meet Akshay Kumar, Shreyas Talpade, Ritesh Deshmukh and John Abraham.

This is where the confusion begins and probably never ends. There are too many characters in the movie which makes the it complicated and even boring at times. Although it is a comedy movie, at certain times the viewers may feel the director is trying to drag the movie. Sajid Khan has tried his best to entertain the audience with a good cast, but has failed with  the  story. In fact, Housefull 2 has no story.

Songs are a plus point for the movie. Anarkali disco chali and Pappa toh band bajaye will surely entertain the viewers. Apart from songs there are a few episodes which will make the viewers laugh, but in the end, you might feel the film could have been done in a better way.

Although the film had a strong cast, the director has not been able to make use of them properly. The movie can be skipped if you have better plans for the weekend.
