Workshop on values

This programme was conducted by Disha, an organisation which focuses on Indian culture and heritage for empowerment of youth. About 80 teachers from the college participated in this workshop.

Rekha Ramachandran briefed the audience about Disha. Jayaprakash, Savitri Somayaji and Shobha demonstrated Pranayama techniques. Moderators conducted group discussion and the summary was presented by each group leader during the open session. Ganesh Bhatt, Principal, MES Teacher's Training College, spoke about how teachers should be role models for their students and should impart education so as to inculcate values and ethics in their students.
