Mary Ann Gomes starred in India’s lone victory while the remaining three games were drawn, giving India a much needed victory at this stage of the championship.
Poland remained in front after settling for a 2-2 draw with Russia to take their tally to 10 points. They are followed by China One. The third place is shared by Russia, Ukraine and Armenia on eight points each while the Indian eves are next.
