Techie dies on road

An Infosys employee, who was on his way home on a two-wheeler, died after he complained of some pain and collapsed at Electronics City on Thursday morning.

The victim, Sharanabasappa Patil, 28, was a resident of Siddapur. He hailed from Dharwad and was married with a child. 

Police said he was returning home around 10.15 am after completing work at the office. He stopped the two-wheeler after he felt uncomfortable at Singasandra on Hosur Road. Within minutes, he started sweating and fell down. 

Passersby rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was declared brought dead, said the police. The cause of the death is yet to be ascertained.
